Hot Melt Adhesive for Straw Attachment can be applied by all kinds of equipments whose speed can reach as fast as 24,000 pcs/hr. It can be applied to straw attaching equipments producing Tetrapak, SIG Combibloc, Ecolean, etc. We have specially developed a unique straw attachment hot melt adhesive which can be operated in low temp. of 140 while it also has fast-setting, no-stringing, good heat resistance traits. No stringing means zero waste of glue and good heat resistance prevents your glue from getting charred. All of which also means less needs of machine cleaning/ maintenance , no glue residual left from hot melt adhesive rollers, and clean equipments/ working environment. Such hot melt adhesive possesses high bonding strength to PE, OPP, PET substrates. At the same time, it can withstand cold/ refrigeration conditions and so it can ensure that the straws on soft pouches don't fall in low temp. storage and transportation. The density for this hot melt adhesive is 0.92 g/cm3 , which is lower than EVA based hot melt whose density is 0.98. It is more economical in terms of using less glue for the same mileage. For cup-shaped made of PET material, because this adhesive has very short open time and setting time, it can swiftly bond OPP to PET cups

Attention:
The HM adhesives should be used on any type of continuous edge banding machine.
Coating can be made either on the edge or on the section material.
The coated material is immediately placed in contact with the substrate and pressed with rolls.
(The temperature should be checked directly in the gluing system)
The supports and edges must be at ambient temperature(which should not be less than 15°C)
and the level of humidity should not exceed 10% in order to obtain a good bond.
