Hotmelt adhesives are often used to glue cardboard packaging. In particular, the high processing speed in the logistics process makes this type of adhesive attractive to use. Another important property is that these thermoplastic adhesives are often also demonstrably food safe for packaging applications.
Although cardboard is apparently easy to glue, there are many packaging applications with specific requirements for the hot-melt glue.
HOT MELT ADHESIVE SUGGESTED USES Designed for sealing of paper box, folding carton box boards and so on. FEATURES Meet the composition requirements of indirect food addictives FDA 21CFR175.105, Good bonding strength, fast setting, good flexibility and hot-resistance performance OPERATION INSTRUCTION 1. Recommended operation mode: spray, roll or extrude. 2. Recommended operation temperature: 160-180ºC. 3. The viscosity can be adjusted by changing the glue temperature. 4. It should not be mixed with any other type of adhesive. 5. The cover of glue tank should be closed lest the adhesive might be polluted. STORAGE Can be stored 12 months in a clean dry place, in its original package at an average temperature of 25ºC or below. Storage temperature should not exceed 35ºC. CLEAN-UP Mineral oil or paraffin wax, not to exceed flash point as stated on the MSDS, followed by a thorough purge with the adhesive itself. SAFETY MSDS should be consulted for proper handling before use. Wear safety gloves and goggles when handling molten adhesive. |
