Introduction
Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) is an adhesive with permanent tackiness that can form a strong bond with the surface of the object to be bonded with just slight pressure, without the need for heat, solvents, or chemical reactions.The hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) produced by Shanghai Rocky Adhesive is made mainly from SIS/SBS thermoplastic elastomers, combined with tackifying resins, plasticisers, and other additives, through heating and melting, coating, and cooling to form a 100% solid content, solvent-free, environmentally friendly adhesive.
Hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives are solid at room temperature and have permanent pressure-sensitive tackiness. They can quickly wet the surface of the object to be bonded and form a strong bond with just slight pressure at room temperature. A: Yes, we provide free samples for customers to test. Samples are usually sent within 3 working days via international couriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, and the customer only needs to bear the shipping cost.
Q3: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: The standard minimum order quantity for EVA hot melt adhesive is usually 1,000 kilograms (one tonne). For first-time trial orders, we can accept small batch orders to allow customers to verify the product. Please communicate with our sales team for specific confirmation.
Q4: What is the packaging method?
A: Hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is usually packaged in 20kg cartons (block or granular form), and other packaging specifications can also be provided according to customer requirements for convenient feeding.
Q5: What should be noted when using it?
A: The recommended operating temperature for EVA hot melt adhesive is 150ºC-200ºC. Please refer to the TDS of the specific model for the exact optimum temperature. Different models have different viscosities, softening points and open times, so please choose the appropriate model based on your specific application (carton sealing, bookbinding, edge banding, etc.). We can provide technical selection advice.
