Edging Adhesive Application…

Make sure you keep your equipment clean and in good working order and that the edges of your boards are clear and ready for application. Here are a few top tips for perfectly applying your edging adhesive:

• Use the glue that's compatible with your machine and your project.
• Don't fill the glue tank to the brim if you're only bonding a small amount of edging.
• Make sure you have enough edge banding ready for the job at hand and position it into the machine's feed track.
• Your machine will heat, coat and bond the edging to your board.
• Set the pressure, temperature and feed rate correctly according to machine instructions.
• Make sure the room isn't too hot or cold as this can stop the glue working properly.

APPLICATION

CONDITION

The HM adhesives should be used on any type of continuous edge banding machine.
Coating can be made either on the edge or on the section material.
The coated material is immediately placed in contact with the substrate and pressed with rolls.
Application temperature: 190-200°C
(The temperature should be checked directly in the gluing system)
Coating weight: 40-100g/M2 (Depending on edges nature and substrate)
Coating speed: 10-25m/min
The supports and edges must be at ambient temperature(which should not be less than 15°C)
and the level of humidity should not exceed 10% in order to obtain a good bond.
SUGGESTION

1 should not be mixed with any other type of adhesive.
2.The cover of glue tank should be closed lest the adhesive might be polluted.
3.If the plant line stops for over 2 hours,The glue temperature should be tuned down .
SAFETY

1.Wear goggles and adiabatic gloves when filling hopper or pot.
2.Keep plant ventilative and forbid any fire.
3.Consult MSDS and read "cautions" before used
STORAGE

24 months in its original package at an average temperature of 25°C or below. Store in a
clean, dry area. Keep containers closed. Storage temperature should not exceed 35°C.
